Continuous monitoring

Watch. Anticipate.

We monitor your servers, workstations and network around the clock, spot the weak signals, and resolve the issue before it reaches your people.

Everything is running normally
Live --:--:--
Mobile device management (MDM)

Smartphones and tablets configured remotely

Inventory, configuration and policies on the mobile fleet. Devices leave, control stays.

Endpoint protection (EDR)

Behavioral monitoring on workstations

Behavioral monitoring on workstations. A compromised endpoint is isolated before it can spread.

ITDR

Sign-ins and access monitored continuously

Unusual sign-ins, privilege escalation, dormant accounts. Threats caught on the identity layer.

Peripherals

Printers, scanners and multifunction units

Printers, scanners, multifunction units. Supplies and print queues kept under watch.

Network

Firewalls, Wi-Fi and segmentation

Firewalls, Wi-Fi and segmentation mapped. Alert on every change.

Servers

Hypervisors, NAS and virtual machines

Capacity, state and backups for hypervisors, NAS and VMs. Verified every day.

Clear support

Clear support
for your teams.

You speak to a team that already knows your infrastructure, your users and your priorities. Every answer comes with that context, with no need to re-explain on every call.

Ticket #4721: printing problem
Resolved
JD

Hi, my network printer has stopped responding since this morning.

09:12

AV

I can see the issue: the print service is stuck. I’m restarting it remotely.

09:14

AV

Done! Could you try printing again?

09:16

JD

Works perfectly, thank you!

Resolution time: 8 minutes
  1. Intake

    A single point of contact

Email, phone, tickets: you choose the channel. You always reach a team that follows your environment.

  2. Qualification

    Immediate triage

Priority assessed by business impact. Critical incidents open a direct channel immediately.

  3. Resolution

    Remote support

Remote control, diagnosis, fix. Most requests resolve without a visit.

  4. Escalation

    On-site intervention

When remote isn’t enough, a technician travels to Geneva or French-speaking Switzerland.

  5. Verification

    Follow-up

A systematic follow-up confirms everything works. The full history stays accessible for your next request.

  6. Ongoing

The same incident doesn’t come back

We record the cause and the fix for every intervention. That’s what lets us anticipate, not just repair.

Provider migration

Switch providers
without chaos.

  1. 01

    Access takeover

Admin accounts, consoles, supplier contracts. The handover is documented.

  2. 02

    Audit of the existing setup

Real state of the estate, security, backups, network. Without complaisance, without drama.

  3. 03

    Documentation

Rebuilding the missing knowledge base. Diagrams, plans, procedures.

  4. 04

    Critical risk remediation

Anything that can’t wait is handled immediately, in transparency with leadership.

  5. 05

    Gradual takeover

The scope is taken on in stages, without service interruption. The user doesn’t see the transition.

  6. 06

    Communication to the teams

A clear message, a new entry point, a simple procedure. No confusion.

  7. 07

    First report

30 days after switchover: state of play, actions taken, 90-day plan.

01 / 07

Taking over an existing setup is our everyday work. Most of our clients already had a provider, and the switch unfolds methodically, step by step.

A switch that takes no effort from you

We collect the accesses and take over at our own pace. Your teams keep working as usual while we pick up the reins.

Pricing

A known scope,
a budget under control.

We size the package to your real environment. Here are the five variables that shape it.

01 Number of users Primary volume, each user generates a recurring cost in support, security and backup.
02 Number of endpoints and servers Endpoints to protect, patch and monitor. More hardware, more surface.
03 Servers and cloud services On-premise, public cloud, critical software services. The scope to operate.
04 Required security level Compliance, regulated sector, sensitive data. The level of protection adjusts accordingly.
05 Backup and continuity Data volume, target recovery times, off-site copy. An SME exposed to a disaster needs more.

Once we know your estate, Avepto proposes a clear monthly package, sized to your environment. No hidden costs, no per-incident billing.

Observed order of magnitude
CHF 5 to 20/ user / day

Indicative range for a standard SME of 5 to 80 users. The package is then adjusted to your exact scope.

Client case

An alert handled
before the outage.

A real, anonymised case. Lausanne law firm, 15 to 20 users, on Avepto managed IT for 18 months. What monitoring caught in time.

Context The firm relies on a file server for active matters. Data sits on the main drives; two mirrored SSDs act as a cache to speed up access. If one of the two stops, the other carries on alone.
Signal detected One of the two cache SSDs fails outright. The mirror holds and the firm keeps working without noticing anything. But had the second SSD failed before replacement, data in transit through the cache could have been lost. Our monitoring receives the alert and we inform the firm.
Action taken A quote goes out for the replacement SSD. The firm approves it, then we step in on site: the drive is replaced and the cache mirror rebuilt.
Outcome The firm noticed no interruption: the cache carried on from the remaining SSD throughout the operation, and the data stayed intact. The window of risk closed within days, before the invisible fault became a real one.

Anonymised case with the client’s agreement. Technical details modified to preserve the confidentiality of the environment. References available on request, under agreement.

FAQ

Your questions on
managed IT services.

If a question isn’t listed, ask it in the contact form. We’d rather give a precise answer than a fast one.

Managed IT means entrusting the operation, monitoring and maintenance of your IT to an external provider, under contract. You get a defined scope, a written service level and a single point of contact. You’re not buying break-fix hours. You’re buying your SME’s reliable day-to-day operation. Avepto, based in Satigny in the canton of Geneva, runs this service for SMEs across French-speaking Switzerland.

Break-fix is reactive and billed per incident. Managed IT is continuous and on a flat fee. Our work first aims to prevent incidents through monitoring and regular maintenance. Most of that activity stays invisible to your teams. You pay a predictable monthly amount, not a string of unplanned emergencies.

Yes. A team of fewer than ten usually doesn’t need an in-house IT team, but it does need its IT to actually be managed. Avepto regularly supports professional practices, accounting firms and engineering offices of that size in French-speaking Switzerland. The scope adjusts to your number of devices, without the fixed cost of a dedicated team.

Yes. Avepto operates either as a replacement or as a complement to an internal team. The split of scope is defined upfront and written into the contract. A common example: in-house keeps the business apps, Avepto takes infrastructure, security and end-user support. Everyone knows who does what, with no grey area between the two.

The takeover follows seven methodical steps over roughly 30 days: access takeover, audit, documentation, critical risk remediation, gradual handover, team communication, first report. The transition is designed to stay invisible to users. Your access and documentation become yours from the start.
