Avepto was founded in Geneva in 2023 from that observation, with a simple idea: a service designed for them. Oscar Calvo, our founder, spent ten years managing complex infrastructure, including multi-site environments. After a major incident and a cloud migration, one conviction took hold: prepare rather than repair. If a project falls outside our scope, we say so plainly. If a proposal lacks clarity, we rewrite it until it is useful and easy to act on. We commit only to what we know we can deliver, and explain the next steps. From Satigny, we support practices, accounting firms, and industrial and service SMEs throughout French-speaking Switzerland. Avepto is a Swiss IT provider, a partner to SMEs, based in Satigny in the canton of Geneva. We run three areas for SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland: managed IT, cybersecurity and productivity. Our approach is managed, documented and monitored IT, rather than a succession of break-fix calls. You keep your core business, we run your IT day to day. ### Where is Avepto based? Avepto is based in Satigny, in the canton of Geneva, Switzerland, and works across all of French-speaking Switzerland: Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg and Neuchâtel. This local anchoring is deliberate: it brings decisions, support and visits closer to our SME clients. Most requests are handled remotely, with an on-site presence when necessary. ### How long has Avepto been around? Avepto has existed since 2023. The company is young, but the approach is set from the start: continuity of the team that follows each client, shared and up-to-date documentation, continuous monitoring and full reversibility. For an SME, what matters isn’t the provider’s age but the strength of the method and the clarity of the scope, written into the first contract. ### How does Avepto organise IT support for an SME? Avepto follows a simple routine: your day-to-day requests are handled remotely by a team that knows your environment. Every intervention feeds documentation that stays accessible to you. Monitoring runs continuously and flags deviations before they disrupt work. Larger changes are planned with you. ### Which companies does Avepto work with? Avepto works with SMEs in French-speaking Switzerland of 5 to 80 people, with or without an internal IT person. We serve architecture practices, law firms, accounting firms, medical and dental centres, media companies and retail businesses, among others.
